At a time when Britain's pubs are closing at a rate of around two-per day, setting up a new concepts and persuading clientele to venture out of their usual social haunts isn't an easy task. Experience, a shared vision and an exciting marketing plan have all contributed to the first year success of The Lord Binning; the first location for The New Moon Pub Company, established by restaurant stalwarts, Paul Newman and David Mooney.
Business partners and experienced restaurateurs Paul and David have courted success throughout their respective careers. In August 2011, they teamed up to launch a venue to rival the highest quality eateries in Cheshire and across the UK; The Lord Binning Pub and Kitchen at Kelsall.
Paul and David have known each other for a number of years and held a mutual admiration for each others' businesses and work ethics. When David happened across a large vacant restaurant and public house in the picturesque village of Kelsall, Cheshire, he knew it could provide the business challenge he was looking for and he immediately got in contact with friend Paul.
Experience, a shared vision and an exciting marketing plan have all contributed to the success of their current venues, The Lord Binning in Kelsall, the Old Sessions House in Knutsford and The Hanging Gate in Weaverham, with The Montgomery in Eastham due to open next month!
